Medical Chi Kung and Tai Chi Certifications & Lineage

Sifu "JC" M.Q.P has been passionately studying Chi Kung (Qigong) and Tai Chi for over 12
years. He is a certified Medical Energy Healer from the International Institute of Medical
Qigong. Studying under Grand Master Dashi Steven Baugh for the last 10 years learning
traditional and time proven forms of chi kung including Bau Duan Jin (Eight Pieces of
Brocade), 5 Elements, Massage Chi Kung, Iron Shirt and internal alchemy. Dashi gifted him
with the task of writing down ancient forms of chi kung in an internal arts manual published
in 2009. Black Sash certified in Tai Chi Chuan Yang / Chen family style systems including
saber and double edge swords from the Lohan School of Shaolin (official school of China
Town Las Vegas). 2008 Golden Medal Push Hand Champion of the Las Vegas Chinese
Martial Arts Championship. Initiated healing Priest of the Lohan Order with studies in the
Quanzhen order of Taoism (The Way of Heaven) and Buddhism (Mahayana & Chan
Traditions) from the Lohan Spiritual and Cultural Center Temple.

JC teaches ongoing classes in Chi Kung, Tai Chi and Tai Chi Sword. Competing and
coaching students in the Las Vegas Martial Arts Championship in September
of 2010. Teaching workshops and seminars on herbalism and natural medicine, Meditation,
Energy Healing, Taoism and more .

Assistant Instructor:

Dodie Amundson is a certified Brown Sash Instructor of Tai Chi and Chi Kung
(Qigong) through the Lohan School of Shaolin in Las Vegas. She has also
received certification in Chi Kung (Qigong) Healing Systems from Golden
Dragon Holistic Arts in Las Vegas. Her journey began in Hermosa Beach, CA
where she taught Special Education for over 22 years and earned a Master’s
Degree in Education from Loyola Marymount University. During that time, she
was introduced to Tai Chi through a class at UCLA.

Moving to Las Vegas, she resumed training in Tai Chi and Chi Kung (Qigong).
It was after experiencing the dramatic healing and health benefits of Chi Kung
(Qigong) and Tai Chi that her search for a master teacher led her to Sifu JC.

Currently Dodie teaches Qigong and Tai Chi classes at St. Andrew Lutheran
Church, Northwest Yoga Studio, and Lieburn Senior Center and assists with
Sifu JC's classes at the Las Vegas Springs Preserve and Rainbow's End Natural
Foods. She also competed in the first International Las Vegas Martial Arts
Competition in 2008.
